DWES PTO
The PTO at DWES has many goals for the 2008-2009 school year and needs a lot of help to make them a reality. If you are interested in helping to make DWES a better place for the students and teachers, let us know.

The DWES PTO is an organization established to support the students, faculty and staff at Desert Willow Elementary.  Members are comprised of parents, teachers, and staff.  Strong parental involvement, wonderful teachers, and supportive staff are some of the reasons why we have an A+ school!

As a PTO, we want to use our resources to enhance the educational experience of all our students.  We would like to facilitate communication between the school and home for the betterment of all involved.  As members of DWES PTO, we can all work together to achieve our goals by supporting fundraising efforts, volunteering in classrooms or on campus, participating in family events and by just being willing to lend a hand wherever it is needed.

Mission Statement

Our mission is to enrich the learning opportunities and environment at our A+ School.  We will generate, gather and distribute resources to supplement school programs and to enhance the educational experience of all students.  We will strive to maintain communication and cooperation between parents, teachers and administrators to help ensure that students achieve their fullest potential and receive the best education possible.

Our goals include raising money for teacher requests, principal requests, and supplementing school programs; promoting and providing ways to volunteer for the school; enhancing communication between school and home; and promoting school spirit.

PTO invites all parents and staff to join and participate in the DWES PTO.
